Spode China Saucer from Titanic This saucer was removed from Titanic prior to her maiden voyage. Even more elegant than the china in First Class on other White Star Line vessels, this pattern of china was designed exclusively for the Titanic. Examples of this china have been recovered from the Titanic's debris field. Spode Copeland records reveal that only 190 china pieces in this pattern were ever ordered by the White Star Line. Given the small amount of this pattern produced, it is possible that this pattern of china saw exclusive use on the private promenades of Titanic's First Class parlour suites.
